This is my latest find. It's definitely got some serious patina going on. The original seat is still good, but the bars and stem were toast upon arrival. Thanks UPS! The original wheels need some new spokes, maybe I will finally learn how to do that and save some money. Any tips fellow ratters? It has New Departure hubs. The tank is spotless on the inside. There were never any batteries used in the Delta horn. I tweaked the pitch screw a tad and added some fresh Dollarama D-Cells and beep beep! (Sunbeam, batteries are the same length and thickness as the original batteries from back in the day and work great in the old Delta lights and horns) The springer is in good working order and I have a few lights to try on the fork. I swapped out the stem and bars and am torn between beach bars or apes. I am going to add some Electra Heavy Duty rims and swap out the sprocket and chain to make this a solid rider. The serial # is D95878 and has the large C with the small W inside it. If anyone has a ratty old taillight that would fit the rear rack, same dimensions as a Luxury Liner rack, I am ready to buy!
