I did have to add a washer to the outside of one side as the axle stuck out more than the thickness of the dropout
 
Cool bike! Before and after. I hope you still have the triple 3 speed. I have welded freewheels on 3 speeds to do something like that. You can get a really low first gear. The thing I liked best is if you have to stop quit at a light you can down shift the hub at a dead stop to take off easier when the light turns green. I am sure you shaved many pounds off the bike with the lighter wheels.
 
I sold the hub set up last year it brought a couple hundred if i remember correctly
 
updated this with straight bars and a taller alloy seat post . this thing is the most fun I have had on a bike in a long time!
