Im doing a Gender Change bike .I Had two of these girls bikes I sold one & I was hoping to build the other one into somthing .
I happened to find the correct frame & a Tank To build this into a very cool mens bike..So Im off to a good parts gattering start.
There is a lot of work ahead & parts needed to get this done right though..
The bike will be 90 % + JC Higgins Parts with a few relitively minor changes & stock JC Higgins Ad ons.

The Grey Donor Bike I bought this a month ago to sell for parts & keep some parts for my self. This had a speedo a seat & a extra tank I wanted plus some other goodies. Im considering using the rear rim & the front rim that I removed before the photo was taken They are factory white with a red pin stripe. The chrome Higgins rims I have from the green Girls bike are decent for higgins rims but ( Jc Higgins rims are Not known for quality chrome. ) They will clean up decent if I decide to use them though ,) I have 4 Jc Higgins bikes at the moment so I have a pile of parts to use & choose from. This is what I call good timing !

The Tank has been repaired it had two holes one the size of a nickel & another hole the size of a dime & is now painted to match the frame color.

Its worth the $40.00 just for a display piece.. Id put new tires / oil grease where you can. & ride the bike. :)

Way ahead of you... well, in thought alone. Throwing on an '80s Huffy wheelset with whitewalls, adding some homemade apes, and riding.
 
The Tank is done in four different color reflectors that are relative to the bikes colors.
But Im torn on weather to make them all one color.

Thanks for the kind comments .. The good news is the reflectors are very easy to change around & I have a bunch of them. :D
 
I think the whitewalls will make it pop with all your good color, on my rust bike I was going to run blackwalls, but since I have a set of WW, that's what I'll be using.
 
I agree Im likely going to do white walls or all white tires .. The only reason the black tires are on the bike is they where on the rims at the time I was building so I figured Id try them .. I have accessories to add still ... :D
