hey all, this is my first rat build, Ive built many road bikes in the past but Ive finally got enough saved to work on my old Schwinn.
my father got it for me years ago, it was i rough shape.
he had it sand blasted and painted semi gloss black.
the forks are very bent so I'm going to get a monark replica, due to price, I'm not a very wiry guy so i figured the dual springs would stiffen up the suspension and make the ride a little less bottomed out.
it only had one wheel and its far past repair so I'm looking for some old 26 inch rims and some new departure model d hubs.
thinking bullhorns with blue grips, black frame, brooks seat and blue rims.
so far its just spare parts for a mock up.
