Built a bike in a week end for less than $30. I tried to make a vintage looking ride with some modern components. This bike is a test bed for the Nexus 4 that I just got. The Nexus will eventually go on another project and this bike will be equiped with a single speed coaster when the time comes. Here's an update on the project. Didn't like the way it rode with the cruiser bars so I tried my hand at a reversed and cut drop bar. This thing is one nice ride, I just love this bike. After a day or two of riding it, I feel like Superman when pedaling a cruiser again. This Raleigh just went up a notch in my fleet to occupy the top position, the perk for that is that it now sleeps in the house. :mrgreen:

Looks good Gerry. How is that Nexus 4? It was an interesting hub as first gear was the direct drive. I bet you can get flying
 
The cruiser bars would have me sitting a bit more upright than I like. Plus the nakey cork looks terrific against the green. And the chrome looks terrific against the green. And the dark brown. And the black...
