1957 Black Phantom and another 20" Tornado

I picked up a phantom parts bike, will be my rider..This makes number 3 for the 20" tornado's... I like to make them TornadoRay's...lol

Here is my 59 Tornado Stingray. I tried to build it like a kid would have in the 60's. Mine has the original red paint like yours underneath, I already stripped one layer of blue off.

Hi All, Nice parts bike. I too have a Tornado Ray, mine is a 61 got it like 2 weeks ago and have been working on getting it riding again. It has a orignal Schwinn Tractor Tire on the rear. I just swapped out the bars for a later model set, easier to navigate it up and down my basement stairs with the thinner bars. Next up degreasing and repacking the rear hub and crank assembly. And I thought I was the only one with something crazy like this!

Hey!!!...and I thought that was my novel idea!!! I have a 24" Schwinn Skipper (RED!) that I'm doing in a "Skipper-Ray" motif.I will post pics when I finish it.Nice scores though...very nice...P 8)
