1959 Schwinn Corvette Basketcase

I bought this from the original owner who had disassembled it sometime in the 60s to repaint it but never did. It's all there except the tires, I may just put it back together or rat it a little with alloy wheels.

cool! lucky he never decided to paint it. looks like it will be clean as is once put back together. the alloy rims sound like a good touch.

Man, that is too nice to paint. Definitely a good thing the original owner never got around to it. If that was mine, I'd just regrease the bearings, clean up the rust on the wheels, put everything back together and ride it. Great color, too. 8)

I figure he meant, "it came in a basket".... that bike is super nice. There are a couple of chrome spots that look like they won't clean up, so if you want it to be really nice, some new bars and rims, but other than that I wouldn't touch a thing.

Color is Radiant Green I believe. Some new whitewalls on there, it's gonna be beautiful.
