I haven’t been too productive on this thing.... I ordered some additional pinstripes for the green wheel areas, but they never came in!!!

Got in the bottom bracket, headset cups and crank and chain ring in.

I know I missed this.

Too much stuff going on in my personal life.

All good though.

I tried to rush in some parts in the 11th hour, but the seat I ordered off eBay, I was in formed a week later by the seller that the seat was no longer available!!!

I got one on order from another place but it hasn’t showed up yet.

here’s an update; fun with vinyl letters.

i’ll slam this guy together once my seat shows up.

I know the feeling. Glad to see you're still working on it! I'm excited to see the final product! Nice lettering on the tires!

Not giving up!!!!

lol

trying to have this together for 4th of July ride.

I’m in the midst of buying and selling a house. Between work, kids, houses, life.... aye carumba!

I hope to do build off 16, but need a house as I’ve put my bikes in storage.

Sounds like you've got a lot on your plate, but I'm glad you're at least making progress on your MBBO bike!

How did you get the lettering on tires? Looks sweet
Thanks @Palepainter !

so, 2 step process
1- purchase “permanent adhesive” vinyl letters

2- clean tire area with rubbing alcohol and apply!!!

I’ve done this on a few other bikes. I have not logged serious miles on the tires, but I have ridden them and the decals have stayed on so far!!!

So..... 90 days late.... BUT finally DONE!!!

Rides like silk

Thanks for all the fun and support here guys.

I apologize I could not get this done in the time frame specified.

My housing situation has been a disaster the past 8-9 months. Hopefully I’ll be back to building for next year’s build off.

Way to go Jude! The Flying Tiger looks great! Glad to see you finished it. I look forward to seeing what you build next once you get settled into your new home.
