1969 schwinn runabout

To cool to pass up.Looks to be in pretty good condition.I have the correct shifter and cables.
Looks like I need to locate an original goose neck.

Nice find. That looks actually like a 68. It has the rear s-2 and clover sproket. What are your plans for it? Are you selling it or keeping it?

It looks like you are right.I double checked the serial # it starts ED not DE like I thought.
I do not know anything about runabouts but it looks like the rear fender and sprocket are different.
Does it use the sturmy archer thumb shift like the other models? Any other differences?
Any information would be helpful.
Not sure about my plans with the bike yet.I would like to keep it at least for awhile.
If I do sell I will let you know.
