SOLD 1972 Schwinn Super Sport - Handbuilt Frame

For sale: 1972 Schwinn Super Sport 10-speed, 22 inch Cro-Mo, hand fillet brazed frame with 27 x 1-1/4 wheels. Has new wheelset (old set was toast) - Weinmann alloy rims. Aluminum hubs. New freewheel, new chain. New Kenda white wall tires and tubes. New Jagwire cables and housings. Old Huret derailleurs; original Schwinn "S" stem shifters. Originals aluminum handle bars, stems, brake system. Original one-piece cranks. Old stock rat trap pedals. New Kool Stop continental brake pads. Old stock quick release skewers on wheels. Velo Orange stainless fenders. Original Brooks saddle has some surface cracks, but they are not through the leather - just in the surface; saddle is in good shape otherwise and ride-ready. Fresh Newbaum's blue cotton bar tape. Still has old bike shop tag from a shop in Pontiac, Michigan.

Really, a classy blue, handbuilt Schwinn that has been gone over and is ready to ride this summer and fall. Head-turning bike.
