I will need to go through it and repack everything. Rides nice but squeeks a lot right now. Also I will be on the hunt for the right reflectors and cable straps. Presently black tie wraps are used all over it.

Closest Ad I have right now. 1975 :D

The same ad i have, I was told it was a 78 and since the parts are the same just black, thats probably correct. Did any of these have a stickshift like a Schwinn Krate? Is a shifter up by the right handgrip correct?

These are based on the F Series Murray made bikes. Basically an Eliminator with sears badging. Lots of potential there. May be a later version. I don;t know those too well. Most top bar shifter bikes stopped in 1973 when adults and legislators decided kids were having too much fun, and might get a knee scrape! lol :D

The only thing I see different is the seat design and the stem is chrome. Also the triangle reflectors. Im going to take mine to a shop in here in Denver that has boxes of old reflectors to try and match my rear and find a match for the front wheel too. I have saved some old plastic cable straps and some chrome ones that might go on it. It's no Krate but it is mine and I want to get it as original as possible. Oh, just noticed the levers in the ad, mine has plastic rubberish type covers on the levers too.
