1988 Muddy Fox Roadrunner

The Bridgestone MB4 that I got last week was to small so I got rid of it and found this Muddy Fox. It was a bike made for the British market. Lugged frame with lots of Muddy Fox logo components. The hubs, handlebars, saddle, headset and cranks all are logo'd. I switched the shifters, saddle and cranks so far. Next items to find are the racks and panniers for my upcoming bike trip. It will be a 104 mile ride through the Owyhee desert in South west Idaho on dirt roads.

Good looking bike too. I like these old straight top tube, non suspension bikes. Any idea what year it is?

Great lugged frame!

I would love to have those bear trap pedals too.

Great find, tune it up a ride the tires off of it!

I am not 100% sure, but seeing as the thread is titled "1988 Muddy Fox Roadrunner" I would hazard a guess that it might be a 1988 model... :wink:
