I feel I stole this off the guy but he has a few high dollar bikes so I didn't feel too bad. Original owner, SUMO rims, awesome condition. Need an original looking haro seat for it and might put some wider and taller bmx bars on it. Or I might flip it if it's worth it. This guy waxed it every year and always kept it properly lubed and it shows. From what I have found, 92' was the first year Haro started introducing the MTB line. Rare? I don't know, you tell me.

Awesome score....definitely a unique bike.

I wonder if it was considered a kid's MTB back then?

Ok, I switched up the handlebars for a wider, taller set that I had. Feels way more comfortable and looks way better I think. Also took off the ugly seat and put on a nice junkpile find that cleaned up great. Wouldn't mind putting a pair of chromoly bars on and getting a proper seat but this will do for now. I decided to go for an evening blast and try out the new changes and I felt like I was 13 again :D I stopped at the gas station for a little photo session as well. I will take some more detailed pics after I give it the RatRod detail job :D

Looks great with the new bars!

All you need now is some black AME Tri Grips....most bike shops still carry these today.

Ok, got around to detailing it. Bought new bars and AME Tri grips, put new tires on, got rid of the so called dork disc and polished the crap out of it.

Also, not sure how to date these. It was bought new in 92' but I am seeing an 89' stamped on the hub and the first 2 numbers in the serial # is also 89, don't know if that means anything or not. Any help on the date would be great.
