1997 SCOTT Catalina- 4spd cruiser

Looks like this was only built one year, the same as my DYNO Moto 7 in 1997. They have some same frame characteristics such as the top tube passing through the seat cluster. Wasn't real thrill to see the Nexus 4 speed as I was hoping for a 7 speed. This had been listed several times on CL with the price slowly dropping.

Now I just need a 1997 Gary Fisher Klunker to go along with this and my Moto 7.

Yeh. I will need to look at this one for awhile to get a better idea of which direction to go.

The shifter is missing the top metal cap but still shifts fine.

Part of the deal on this bike was the Moby Bite tires. One of my favorite tires. Gonna keep them.

Thanks guys, I like the chainguard too.

I aired up the tires and rode this to work today. Nice and fast ride. The tires still have the mold spru/marks. I think this bike just kicked around in somebody's garage for years.
