This came into my collection yesterday. Its a 1985 Raleigh Olympic? I think with the team graphics from the 1984 Olympics. I think the fork is not original though, it should be blue with stars like the rear triangle. And its been ridden hard. I will clean it up and hang it in the middle of all my race posters and jerseys.

Strange how things happen, today I ended up with another one of the exact same bike that is all original except the seat, meaning the fork and even the tires. Its covered in dust, as soon as I get it cleaned up, I'll get some pics of them together and then invite George Hincapie over to go for a ride.

Great bikes. What components are they laden with?

Are you serious about George? I thought he lived in SC. I did meet him at a friend's wedding who was on 1996 Olympic team with him.

Of course I'm Serious. I would invite him over any time. Whether or not he comes is another story when being invited for a ride by some crazed fan. No, I do not know him personnally, not yet any way. Just a fan. :D

I did see Lance at a speech here in Denver a few years ago. I was right up front and was standing right next to Davis Phinney for about a half an hour and did not know it. After Lance introduced him, I felt sooo stupid. I had a book of Lances with me hoping to get signed and theres a picture of the two of them in it. That would have been a nice addition to my collection had I recognized him at the time.

This is the second one I just got, it's all original except the seat which I will get from the other one. Its filthy right now.
