Driving on a back country road today after yardsaling, I found a auction, Old farm house with 5 barns full of stuff, I spotted a pile of bikes, scooters, sleds. and little trikes
10 minutes after I got there they came up, First pick went for 35.00 (2 newer murrys, older 24" ) Next went for 5.00, I got the Schwinn Stardust and the unknown 24", last 1.00 the speedster 26".
Did not really get to look at them before the bid. To my surprise the Unknown is a skip tooth (my first one!!!!), rear facing drop outs. a little liquid wrench and some air in the tires, I am crusin around the block.
The last pic my wifes "new" ride, 24" imperial, no badge could be a Columbia? I did a lot of cleanup, new tires, will most likely have to repaint, I wanted her to have a cool ride when I am out the my trike. last years fresh find...
if any one has an idea of the unknown, please let me know. I know the peddles are wrong....
