I have done some searching on the web and have found very little info on these shifters. I saw reference to one on a Huffy BMX bike . Can anyone give me some info on these ? The metal part has AG on it,the grip says OGK 68-5A,the cable housing is Shimano. The cable end is terminated with a threaded piece. Shifting is H-N-L . Is this a rare bird of sorts or is it my search skills are lacking ? Thanks for any help.

It looks like the usual Shimano 333 3 speed twist grip, very common in the early 70's. Only this has a nicer grip on the shifter, most were plain white plastic grips. The letters indicate Low, Normal, and High gears.
