2001 Schwinn Sierra

A lady at my work asked me today if I had any nice bikes cheap that would fit her so she could start training for ride she plans on taking next summer. Well I stopped by my favorite thrift store and low and behold there was what she asked me for. Have to swap out the seat and tune it up for her.

my only gripe,i fi had one( note i said if as i do not have any gripes with this bike). would be it is a wal mart Schwinn. but it is a decent bike for what she wants

Not sure but what I found online says it was sold at bike stores for about $360

I believe that to be a bike store model as well even without searching online. My seasoning is both front and back hubs are quick release. Not common on box store bikes. It has a suspension seat post. That's usually bike store Schwinn only item but of course someone could have added it but it looks like the type used on Schwinn bike store line.

Yep. Pre-Pacific/Doral Schwinn for sure and $360 new sounds about right. We sold lots of these... Nice comfy rider!
