Make it in to an "Evel Knievel" model..oh thats right its for your wife..LOL..oh well
Post a picture when you are done..Looks in good shape..

YA! it's got all the parts still on it and minimal rust, I was feelin like i was cheatin the poor illegal alien who had it.

She wanted a baby blue Schwinn starlet, but shes just shy of 5 foot and the girls fender bikes are hard to find in one piece at a decent price for some reason......

so I'm gonna spray it blue and screw on a Chicago head badge while i got it apart cleaning it..

well I have no idea of the year..
It was badged as a Ted Williams Free Spirit with no model designation. A lot of Japanese parts but It does have a Shimano 3sc and Wald front hub so I'm guessing early 70's?

it will be baby blue in about an hour

Spent last night putting it back together... The naval jelly took ALL the rust off and the old chrome is AMAZING! Barkeepers friend did wonders for that white parts as well.. I love working on bikes that aren't for me, they go so smoothly... I'm such a tool, If it's mine I gotta mess with everything =p

Course I forgot about the stupid EA3 rims so I'll have to wait for tires in the mail since I don't have any that size, but thats all thats left I think...

nice bike man, just 1 thing, was your description of the fellow who you purchased it really necessary? remember theres people from around the world on this site, so to them, you are a foreigner also...you say you felt like you were cheating the guy,but you still have the nerve to put his migratory status on blast. b nice : ) (just my 2 cent)

P.S. NICE BIKE! : )

Don.t get me wrong man... my wife and half my friends are Mexican.... I was just trying to emphasize the language barrier in as few words as possible.

If I offended anyone I apologize fully! that was not my intent :?

They used Ted Williams in the 70's, I wouldnt doubt if it was a 76. I've never seen that frame used in the 70's before
