I picked these up on ebay a few weeks ago. Three of them are 26" steel clad wood rims that will accept a clincher tire. The third is a 28" steel clad wood rim but, is slightly more narrow than the others I have. Are the 26" rims from a transition period ? What bikes would have come with these? All are in real good shape and I plan on using at least three of them. Any info would be appreciated.

The Narrower rims is most likely off a early fixed gear track bike like a Paramount. from the teens.

yeah the narrower ones were for track bikes......good luck on finding tires for the 26" ones though............(theyre made of unobtainium)
