Hello all...

I never ride the trails anymore, and my bike has been collecting dust for the past 2 years...

Looking to "play" around with it and possibly make a rat/cruiser... Been browsing the forum today and have seen some amazing builds!!!

I am guessing a bent swinger fork and a seat extension post are mandatory...

Would like to keep the frame and the Mavic wheels if possible, but certainly open for suggestions, guidance for parts, etc...

Large frame, but seems to be on the smaller side
Mavic Crossmax wheels
everything else is pretty much stock... Will upload a pic once I get home since the work computer won't allow me

I am sure you all know what a stock MTB looks like anyways...

Sounds like a plan to me...I'm always looking at frames from a repurposing angle. I'm keeping my eye out for a GT wind-/aero- stream for a bobber project I have in mind...and a few different mtn bikes for bmx cruiser conversions (Kona Huma/Aha/Unit & GT Peace 29er).
