Found this saddle at the flea market and thought that it would look neat on my cruiser project. Says "PERSONS" on the bottom but haven't been able to find a pic online. Any ideas?

I don't have a picture of it at the moment, but I picked up a Murray 3 speed for parts that has that exact same seat on it. It was probably a 70's/80's bike, never tried to date it. I don't know if the seat was original to it, but it probably could have been. I think Persons did both OEM seats and aftermarket ones. They are like one of the "big three" seat makers.
Thanks for the info. I had thought about dying it black but want to keep it original now. I do like the pattern on it also.
