I keep reading about bikes used in factories so I'll throw mine in too. I had this in fresh finds along with 6 other bikes I picked up but I liked the story that went with this one. It belonged to an electrician that worked in a Ford transmission plant in Indiana. When he'd get a call that a machine was down he'd take off on this for quick response time - time is money. If he needed parts he'd fly through the plant & back in no time. Amongst the other trades they would do favors for each other. Apparantly his best buddy was a welder looking at the modifications. It only came with a front hand brake - this is a single speed free wheel, no coaster brake. He had extra brackets welded on above all three wheels and installed magnets to pick up stray metal bits to keep them out of the tires plus installed an additional rear brake. He also had a cup holder made out of a spring. The Army box on the back he picked up at a flee market and he also added a partial cage to carry his tool belt. I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet, I just thought it was an interesting piece.
