I totally missed this build, this is fantastic. Just saw it in finished bikes.

What are you using for spring material?

I have a springer fork idea using a trailer leaf spring cut down, others have done it too so I'm not claiming it. But it will be heavy. Material you used may be an option.

There are aluminum trailer leaf springs... which kinda blew my mind. Doesn't seem like a great idea, but if they last for some time on a trailer...they should last longer on a bike!?

I also made a bending form last night and glued up my G-10 leaf Springs

G 10 is layered fiberglass laminate, often found on knife handles etc

Yep, G-10 AKA Garolite. Basically fiberglass. I looked around for the best price and believe it or not Mcmaster-carr was better than everyone.
