I've got this 1937 Dayton and I don't know if it was supposed to be a skip tooth or not. It has a standard chain ring now. Any help would be appreciated. it has a New Departure hub.

A friend and I had looked it up in a book that he has I forgot the name of it but it is all the Dayton Huffman serial numbers according to year. He has a 100% original '36 Dayton.

Also, it looks like that may be the original chainring. I see a 48 with the same one on the thread I mentioned above.

same style Huffman frame that I based the Widowmaker on back in RRBO5, and it was a `51. also have a `38 Dayton frame in my stash and they have very distinctive matching arched top tubes.
