how did you fit the girvin fork on that frame? as far as I know the girvin fork is 1 1/8" headtube and the frame is 1"????

That is an old Girvin (I think 95 or earlier with integrated stem) typical to a Proflex bike and they used a 1" steer tube untill 1996...and way bitchen...

Those two bikes with the modern front ends are absolutely incredible. I've got a straight-bar project running through my head, and those front ends, just blew my mind to bite-sized pieces.
