'39 Schwinn Autocycle w/ Whizzer

If you've looked in the "Schwinn" section of the forum on thecabe, I posted that there was a chance I'd be able to score this.

Well here it is. '39 Autocycle with lots of good stuff going for it.

I was told the original owner got two speeding tickets on this here in Atlanta back in the 50's.

Got the pogo and duel lights. Nice OG paint!

Dang. Is that a super duper rare Pogo seat?

Those Schwinn duel lights are hard to come by too, as much as the pogo. I'm just happy nobody repainted this thing when it was being Whizzerized in the 50's.

The first time I saw this, it was at the first swap at the church in October!

Then when I contacted him a week later about it. He sold it.

After a long search of finding who owned it after that, I finally got in touch with the lady and she agreed to sell.

This is whizzer 2!

I thought it looked familiar, took pics of it back then. REALLY like the bars on it, not to mention that seat (like CeeBee pointed out)

The stem is a rare part too but used on more models than the light and pogo!

Its like some spoiled rich kid in 1938 told his dad he HAD to have every cool accessory that was available to put on a bike or he was gonna hold his breath until he turned blue.

Then some kid in the late 40's beat him up and stole his bike to build a Whizzer.

I was told the kid had gotten 2 speeding tickets while riding it in downtown Atlanta. Sound like a real thug.

Never seen that badge before. Has to be pretty rare. Everything rare on that bike. I wanna see you get a ticket on it in Atlanta. Gary
