Took this Cleavland Welding Fleet in partial trade from member "thekid" last week...let's just say he took a shine to the Westfield.

It has a Monark chainring on it....which is okay because I think they look cool.

Not totally sure what I plan to do with this one yet, but I've always liked this frame design and the springer fork.

I threw a set of Nexus wheels on it real quick to see how it would look. May end up running cream Fat Franks on it.

I will definitely be painting the bike. Glad that it came with the seat post clamp and layback seat post too.

Still need to drill out the fender and fork braces to fit over the late model front axle.

Hey Steve! Is the sprocket completely flat?(on backwards) If it is that is a real CWC sprocket. The Monarks had one with the same hole cutout design but was cupped on the backside like a Schwinn. I've got a few of both - they are different. You probably know the difference, I just throw this in every time it comes up because I know some bike enthusiasts think they are all Monarks. Did you get Phil to date that for you yet? If not, take a few pics of some key components including the dropouts and serial number, send them to him (rms37) and he will log it into his database and date it for you. His goal is to have a CWC Website and I throw as many his way as I can. And also - that is one bad looking bike. It actually looks pretty hot with the curved fenders dulled out instead of the peaked ones. Thanks. Robert

looks great ! amazing what a nice wheel and tire combo will do, the bends on the rear section of the frame are very cool 8)

Here's a few more detailed shots...looks like the serial number is G23071 CW

I did trade PMs earlier in the week with Phil about the age of the bike.

Looks like I may have given him bad info though so I'll ask him to take a look at these....
