Getting this either Monday or Tuesday. I think I have the correct chainguard. I will be in search of a rear wheel drop stand, rear tail light and reflector, and hopefully, if the headlight is salvageable, I'll be looking for a lens and battery tray.

i could sure use the tank good luck with it

I bought this instead of finishing my 37 Columbia because of the original color and parts, especially the tank :D

A little insight on your bike. I have one that is similar. I just sold the correct rear tail light lens, sorry. It is a little canister light that takes one battery. They show up on ebay once in a blue moon. The headlight is called a "Delta Alien". Not too many of these around and were an option on these Elgin models. Save it if you can, maybe even convert it to LED if possible! Is the tank a screw together or a snap tank? Love the original colors!

Actualy Joe, I think his has the even rarer 2 cell tail light that had a second bulb for a brake light. A friend of mine has one and it uses a switch at the rear hub. Pretty sure they use the same lense though. The girls Elgin I just got has the 2 cell, 2 bulb also.

Excellent find by the way...beautiful bike!

Just got it. Can't wait to clean it up. The headlight guts are in there (rusted in half) but I think I can make it work again, just need a lens for it (I'm sure that will be the real hard part). Still looking for a dropstand if anyone has one to sell.

I know hes lucky LOL I just want to sport 1 older then my dad bike LOL just think it would be cool to ride a bike thats 60-80 yrs old
