I've been looking at this Hawthorne, but I'm not sure who made this frame. Snyder?

Is the brace between the seat stays straight or curved? CWC and Snyder both had similar bent tank frames. To my understanding synders braces were always curved and CWC are always straight

This seems a bit strange...aren't these the kind of questions you answer?

Good lookin' bike!

I know the 50's and 60's, but the prewar I'm still learning. Is that chain wheel only used on Hawthornes?

They posted another pic on CL, but still can't see the brace. Either way, it's a large size frame. It's dropped in price to $299, maybe I'll get it cheaper if it's still there next month.
