it looks like it's painted some kinda metallic gold and brown to me??

whatever it is, I like it.

That's the original paint (what's left) and a bit of rust covered in clear coat I think....right Hooch?

I just meant not repainting it and just clear coating the original paint

its original paint and rust..... scrubbed then clear coated with a satin enamel
its originally blue with cream

What brand was the satin clearcoat and was it a spraybomb.

I love the fatties I put them on a few bikes and it makes for a smoooooooth ride!:lol:

nice love those graphics on the old schwinns. got a question about the 24's do u tweak the frames at all for the rear wheel to fit?

yes its a real tight fit!
I will be getting this bike back (I sold it to a buddy) and I will be putting 26" back on it ... while the 24"s look great they are really heavy to ride

wow hooch you sold the la salle huh? well she went to a good owner as i remember this was one of the first bikes here to use the 24X3 tires correct me if i am wrong? man wish i had the cash oh well you know how it is all the cool stuff is forsale when you dont got da dough. hooch knows i have a soft spot for patina

I sold it over a year ago to a buddy but we are working a deal and I will be getting it back and building him a spitfire framed rat trike
