I just passed 500 km on my RRBBO-cruiser, last night. Although not fully original, cause I installed the speedo after about ten days the bike was finished. But I thought that was quite quick (since I do a lot of cycling on my racing bike, these days).
What I also thought was quick ( ) is that I took the BMX apart I got a few days ago for $12, stripped the paint (heatgun), did some grinding, installed new cranckshaft with new bearings and cups, cleaned and lubed both hubs, repaired the headset (totally shot), gave it a paintjob, put it together, found out the new crankshaft is narrower, grinded some of the pedal-arm, bashed a little dent in the rearfork and rode off! Those were a few sunday-afternoon hours well spend!
