50's J.C. Higgins Serial Number for Build Year, Anyone?

I picked this bike up from the original owner this past weekend who got the bike new back in 1958, not sure what the true year of the bike is and dying to know, if anyone can determine what the year model is by the serial, you my friend will make this guys day!! Been polishing the wheels and did a little touch up on the paint, switched a few things out, super sweet rider.

That serial number is a classic. The 240 thousandth bike made. Cool. Gary

4750 is the Sears catalog #. I couldn't find it specifically in my book, but 58 sounds about right, I would have guessed 55-60. -Adam
