I've had this bike for years, since 1979. It was my only bike for a lot of years. I had to hunt it down when I left the Navy, my brother had it in a barn in another state. Then I added a repop tank and found a chain guard that looked right and painted it all to match in 2006. Then I realized I had more fun riding when it was just a cruiser, so I returned it back to the stripped down version. I put the tank and chain guard up for sale here and I'm waiting to hear back on a buy now. The springer is probably from a 59 Jaguar, that stays. I made some struts for it, but they came back off too. The wheels are heavy duty Wald with a SA 3 speed w coaster.

You must have big legs to spin that big chain ring. I like to see part of the springer fork painted to match the frame too. Makes it look like original equipment.

Lucky for me I had a 22 tooth sprocket to go on that 3 speed. With the 52 on front it evens it out.
