53 Schwinn girls bike

Got this at LBS for my daughter she loves it :mrgreen: It was pretty rough hammered the fenders back to useable and repacked everything tightened the spokes it rides really nice. Seems to be all original :mrgreen:

I think maybe that's a 24". The good thing about a girls 24" inch is that you can put a girls tank off a 26" bike right on there. Same exact size. Rack, tank, light...cool, cooler, coolest. :wink: Gary

Looks like an all original 53 Meteor with a very slight bend in the forks.

It's a 24" I'm not sure if I want to pull the fork back out, she can ride it really easy with no hands :roll:

I think it's a grade higher than the Meteor. His bike has chrome rims and the deluxe chainguard. Those 24" deluxe chainguards bring good money. They are fairly scarce. Gary

Thanks Gary. Now I have to find a tank and rack for it. we was on a ride tonight and she was telling me how much she likes old bikes cause the seats are squishy 8)
