'53 Schwinn World Traveler and a pre war Monark frame

A couple of new finds.....a prewar Monark 26" frame badged as a Challenger and a '53 Schwinn World Traveler. I loved the '51 Schwinn that Markm did and have wanted something like it since. I've collected some parts to build an early 50's Hercules but this came along and the Herc is going to be history.

I had 2......stripped the rear one of all it's parts and scraped the frame, fork and rim hoops. Saved the rest. The bike looked like it was ran over by a car...frame and forks were bent badly. Still have the front one in all of it's glory :shock:
