Back in February, I attended the Hurricane Coasters Bike Swap in Concord, NC, and picked up a new project...a cool Schwinn balloon tire cruiser. It was a relatively original frame and forks, the only real modification was someone tried to repaint the white graphics. Fink Green Felt wheels and Quick Brick wide whites were included in the deal. I immediately had a vision of the bike completed, so a deal was struck and I took it home!
Once home, I stripped her down and started cleaning! Underneath was a really nice green color...worn and chipped from years of riding, but really cool. The grease and grime had actually preserved what was left of the original paint.
