Took a few hours saturday morning and with help from oldest son, put my 24 inch 67 Typhoon together. Had frame for awhile purchased wheel and tire set from Ratrodbikes himself at last dallas swap meet. Everything else came from parts box in garage. Had intention of stripping down giving a nice paint job but think now it will stay like it is.

Really fast with bigger rear sprocket

Great time spent with sons putting this together and waiting for each other turn to take for a ride around neighbor hood.

Looks good.
How wide are the tires?

Falstaff the tires are 24X2.10 with the wide rims from RatRodBikes they look huge, no problem fitting on frame. Yes it appears the bug has landed, loving it. Thanks everybody for the positive comments. And by the way MERRY CHRISTMAS to all

Cool, that saves me a little headache for whenever I get around to building mine.

I have always discounted bikes with 24" wheels as just too small - but some of these bikes when built up really look cool.
How do they fit a 5'10" tall 30" inseam guy?

I'm 6' with a 31" inseam , if I raise the seat post on mine high enough it's not to uncomfortable. Not quite like a 26" but better than most 24".

They look like 3" tires in there, great job! A custom laid back seat post will get the height you need.

Oh yea, a laid back seat post.

Sounds like you're about the same size as me. Like others have said not bad with the seat up. Here's me on my 24 inch Huffy.

I like a small bike though. Most 26 inch bikes feel a little big for me.
