Plenty strong for a laidback seatpost...right?
Aint gotta bender, so......shoould i pie cut and bend over and weld or cut in half @ angle and butt weld it?

Gonna brace either way pretty sure tho.

I just made one for my LGB and I used 7/8'' od black pipe or they also call it schedule 40.
I pie cut it and welded it together and painted it silver. I weigh 240 and it held good.

If you have any doubts weld a gusset in the bottom. It will strengthen it a bunch.
