Just finished getting my son's bike together. Started life as a red Tornado. Now done in Kool Orange with random water decals, motocross handlebars and West Coast chopper wheels. Last 2 pics are both of my kids with their bikes. The violet one is a 1970 Slik Chik. They have matching horn headlights (maybe I mounted those headlight arms upside down). Now I see the pictures, the front wheel might be better turned around too 
Now to finish my wife's and mine hopefully in time to be riding once it cools down a bit here
Had to got with the orange/white checkered seat since my son doesn't enjoy the riding position on a banana seat. My daughter I think could care less about the seat as long as all the boys in the neighborhood tell her how cool her bike is.
