Well work on my welding some today switch to a 6013 rod instead of a 6011 felt rod seems to work a lot better at 60 amps.
Also found a nice beefy tire for rear 20x2.35 look good there now have to get one that size for front

Glad you switched to a #13 stick instead of the 11, much better fit for what you are doing and the amps you are running, should give you a better and smoother result!

Really good to see someone actually using a stick welder to build bikes though! I have done it in the past and in some ways I miss doing it that way...

Luke.

I figure after a few dozen bikes I might get it down. Makes a difference when metal is so thin
.trying to get the boys to weld but they don't want no part of it lol

Looks like this thing is going to be a fun ride but I have one question.?
Is that front wheel a little bit to close to the frame.?

Looking forward to following this build! I've been wanting to do this for a while now. I build and restore go karts an mini bikes, so this is right up my alley.

I am currently building up a 212cc Hemi head HF Predator right now. She will be spinning close to 7000rpm! Most of my parts are in, just waiting on the cam.

Aftermarket filter and exhaust and maybe a new jet for the carb would really wake your motor up!!!!! The factory ones are really restrictive.

Good luck with the build and hope I get some ideas for my future build.

Well ordered the clutch last night ordered 11 tooth.
Also ordered rear sprocket 44 tooth using a 35#chain
Got the motor mount welded on.motor. Slides in and out perfect.

That is a compact design. Looks frightening to ride.
