Well...not quite what you were expecting.

It's a ladies Diamond Back Sand Streak. The cool thing is that it comes with Araya 7X 26x1.75 wheels and a coaster brake. Also has a Diamond Back BMX stem and a DB seat post clamp. Oh, and don't forget the DB tubular forks.

It's coming from California....won it on Ebay for a decent price. Will post better pics when the old girl arrives.

I have the male version of that same bike. They're a real nice ride. It's my wife's favorite bike. I plan to do it up DB Turbo style some day, but for now the wife likes it w/ white walls and semi gloss black paint.

What year is that bike..? I have no clue but if I had to guess early eighty's...Do I win a Cigar..or walk home...

Neat bike..I can see it on the beach now..

It's a 1983/84. I'll take what left if you're going to scrap it after you pick it to pieces. Let me know.

I recently picked up the mens version of this. Thanks to the crew over at OS-DB.net for helping me figure out what it is.

Btw, yours is the only one I have found a pic of on the net.

It's an '83. Still has the LBS (Erhardt Schwinn Tempe AZ original location) seat post sticker on it and I know the owner Larry so I went and talked to him about it. He said he hasnt seen one of these in 25+ years but said he sold a whole bunch back in the day. Told me all the different styles for mens and ladies and what colors they came in. Pretty cool.

I also bought this bike for all the goodies on it but think that I might keep it as a whole. I have only changed out the bars so far. It'll sit for awhile before I decide what Im gonna do.

Original bars....
