To Magnificent

The chain is skipping so I am going to have put a little more work into it to get it road ready but all in all it was a fun second project. It's lighter than my mtb, and a lot lighter than my cruiser. It's pretty smooth.

I'm hoping for this to become my main rider.

I can't stop tinkering with it. New alloy wheels, brooks saddle, wide range freewheel. New bars, cork bar tape shellaced and twined, bags and fenders. It looks like I am touring the English countryside instead of just going to Starbucks to waste time.

Are those mustache bars you wrapped and added in the last pick? Look great. The straight tubed touring bikes have been overlooked by a lot or rat rodders.

It's written with women in mind but its an enjoyable read and full of usefull information. Though I sometimes find her a little pretentious, but I just chalk that up to hanging around too many spandex wearing cyclists.
