Hundred bucks for a mostly there Ross, chromey.
Serial number R3J0206
Shimano Deer head group, no crank
Bullmoose bars
Loose rims (Araya RM20's), spokes, high flange hubs included.
Farmer John tires!!! tired
I think it's a Mt Whitney but I'm not sure of that. Frame only weighs 6 lbs.

Nice pickup, good looking bike. I love the fork and bars. That deerhead group is quality, I'm sort of in love with the clicks of the thumbies. They're completely rebuildable, can be switched to run left or right, or even flipped under the bars, will shift 5-8 gears, just lovely design. You can get a manufacture date from a code stamped on the back of every Shimano part.

Salvaged ‘83 Mt. Hood in the works here to appear as original but narrower Araya rims, vintage tires and 2x set up for touring style . Year end model Ishiwata tubing made in Japan not Amlite from Pennsylvania, Tom Kellogg convinced Ross. Since added correct brake levers and brakes, need to cable up and ride, leaned toward street dirTTown cycleS
