The official before shot from the craigslist ad of this AMF Roadmaster I bought several months ago. I have disassembled it and am cleaning the parts. Cant believe how much grime can be on a bike. The wheels are salvageable but the spokes are shot. They will have to do, the chainring and pedals are also a lost hope. And the paint is peeling so it will have to be resprayed. I now have a place to paint so it will be my first rattlecan job to experiment with. If it works out, I have 2 other bikes lined up for some serious renovations, one will be an early mountain bike like what Joe Breeze rode Mount Tamalpais on and the other will be a Military bike.
