id buy

tanks and rear rack would probably get you half your money back if there nice, still have a whole bike left over after that too :)

Yeah.I hear ya,but I would most likely keep all of the candy. The guy has the orig bars and is willing to throw them in on the deal. this bike looks pretty decent overall, I would just think back to my 47 b6 world which i got for $20 and my 50's? excelsior I got for $45, and this would be the $250.00 gorilla in the corner.
It would make an awesome addition to the collection though.

Still pondering............................................maried.............................................uh........................................stay tuned.

put it that way and i would let it slip

For $250, I'd pass too. Those bright orange pieces of tape/stickers on the Hornet remind me of when I was a kid. Went to the local bank on my StingRay one Saturday morning to a "bike rodeo". I think the Jaycees were putting it on. First thing when I got there, some jerk with a roll of white reflective tape wanted to stick that stuff on my bike but I wouldn't let him. They wouldn't let me in without it so I left. I still see bikes with that kind of tape...40 yrs. old and still stuck tight. It ain't comin' off. Gary

I agree those refelctive stickers reall muck up the look of the bike, Plus you no longer have the night time stealth factor. They see you coming a mile away.
