I've been eyeballing the Mead for about a month. I sold a couple of my rides this week and finally landed it yesterday morning.
I replaced rear tube and tire on site and rode it home and had it blown apart until tonight. About all that's left to do is rebuild rear hub and change tires and seat.
She's marinating in Linseed oil overnight. This'll be the first time I've tried rubbing with Linseed and I like the bikes I've seen it on.
The long spring saddle has a cracked pan and will be reassigned after repair.
The other bike that found its way to my house yesterday is this AMF AeroBee Renegade. There's not much of the Bee decal left, but what's there is pretty clean.
