I’ve always found it interesting how someone that speaks with a strong accent can sing and have their accent almost disappear.

It is my opinion that too many 'top' recording artists these days have great looks and so-so singing ability. A guy I work with was commenting on a popular country singer when I told him her singing didn't do much for me he said "Yeah but she's hot".....Music is for the ear. I think this woman is a breath of fresh air in the music industry.
