I got these two bikes today.
Interested what is the men bike. Has a rear Eclipse hub dated K4. SN is K 10904
And what year... 1941 maybe

Interested in the year for the ladies bike.
SN A 70495
Rear hub is a Komet, maybe is not original. The wheels are different.
thanks

I really like the Western-Flyer, good find I would say 41 is in the ball park it has the drop stand tabs, as for the comet wheel those are from the 60's, newer then the RoadMaster there on.

Do you think it is a W Flyer?
I said 41 because of the rear hub marked K4

On the girl's bike, I think that's a Monark chain ring. That same style, in skiptooth, would be CWC, but standard links style is Monark. The frame looks early 50's. I'm almost positive the A in the serial number signifies 1950 or 51. So the wheels may have been changed out when the bike was redone maybe years ago. Looks rideable as is.

As for the boy's, it has a blackout rear hub, so that's wartime. I'd have to research exactly when those came about to know any more.

Anything with a shock master springer is a good find!

The black hub is 45...46. I have a Roadmaster.
This hub is dirty. It is silver and '41 after the Morrow date chart.
