I had run this Hiawatha I built a few months ago ,on c/l. It stayed there for a month or so and never got a hit. This girl called and said she had fallen in love with it and wanted to buy it. Her mother called a couple weeks ago and asked if I would hold it till the end of the month that she wanted to buy it for her daughter to take to college. I normally say no ...but what the heck nobody else had called. Today they called and said they were coming over to buy it. Came over gave me the money and took the bike...everybody was smiling. Never thought that would have happened  .

thats a great bike and looks like it is going to a great home. i just sold a mountain bike i built today to my neighbor when i got off work today and right b4 i came down here (my shop 50miles away). hard for me to sell a bike, even if i really need to. for me, like today, doing it quick in a controlled chaotic moment before i know what happened seems to be the easiest way. when i try, no one is biting, but when i don't plan on it or im busy in a different direction, it seems they come out from the woodworks.

Hummm lets see I still have about 5 already built bikes that I have to sell in a no sell economy. Do I want to build more or keep trying to sell the ones I already have built. Gee its going to be a tough decision. The eventual outcome will be to part them out on the bay. At least the parts will be clean and painted ha ha. Oh and Kota I have camping money just a little thin on bike building space
